I personally understand the cost of education; I went to a private college with tuition being $60,000/year - I was fortunate to receive scholarships, grants and loans along with having my parent's life saving. After my Freshman year, I saw something that broke my heart, many didn't return; not weeding out drop outs & transfers, they simply didn't return because they didn't have the means to do - means being money.

Growing up, my mother kept me in either summer school, leadership camps (overnight stay camps) or other conferences helping to prepare students for ahem the "real world" - she worked day and night to cover these expenses for me, as these were my dreams.

Yet, this isn't the case for many however no one should be denied an opportunity to enrich their education. That's why I started The Torie Foundation for Girls - offering grants and scholarships to girls who wish to further their education or teachers wanting to provide more enrichment opportunities in their classrooms.

Granting educational funds for women of all ages.

Twice a year, our Board of Directors will select four girls total to grant their wishes. If you're a student or a teacher looking to go further with your education, apply here.
